I first realized my fascination with designing homes when I was about 9 years old. Although I had always enjoyed drawing, the where and how of housing caught my attention more than other topics. How humanity is sheltered, powered, and fed will be an interesting challenge going forward because of the effects of our current resource usage on our environment.
Our preconceptions of what a home is will have to change and it will be for the better. I believe we can build living, breathing homes. Not just a place where we can live, but a home that lives with us.
